Dear Daniel,

You may remember me from Molinare where I worked on the VFX for your film, “Dead in Week” stitching together the final drone shot and dropping a piano on William’s parents.

I was hoping to get in touch with you again about a short film project of my own and I was delighted to see that you do project mentoring and executive producing.

The 5 minute short film, “Broken Toy” is a modern day sci fi (in the genre of Black Mirror /Twilight Zone) based on my own award-winning screenplay and I have gathered a really exciting team together around the project, especially for post-production where I have built up an extensive network of contacts, but also a very talented DOP and composer.

If you have time, I would love to send you a copy of the screenplay and the project lookbook to see if it is something you would be interested in getting involved in or simply having a chat to get some advice!

Kindest Regards,

Just want to say that I absolutely loved “The Man in the Hat” when I streamed it on Amazon the other night, and have put it right up there among my favourite films of 2020. So beautiful, so funny, so imaginative. Well done to all involved!

Thanks Adam – these messages mean a lot to us – this was a film we cobbled together with very limited resources and it’s such a thrill that people are moved by it. Your help spreading the word is mighty welcome – any other year we might have garnered some press and a run in cinemas – but nonetheless it feels like a vital time to be getting our escapist heartfelt comedy out to as many eyes as we can get on it!
